Here we are. It’s the end of the year!
I’m still in shock that ‘COVID-19’ remains a hot topic this year, a lot of things have changed in our lives, and much success has been achieved as well. As we all know, COVID’s lasting legacy has and will continue to change our lifestyle and our work style.
As a recap of sorts for this strange and fascinating year, I want to use a few different images to summarise my 2021 year @Wenbo Zhao Photography.
My Most Interesting Image of 2021
Due to the COVID lockdown, I was not able to shoot on location as I usually do. On the plus side, I was able to focus more on CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) Photography. The watch image below was created on the computer a personal passion project during lockdown. I was able to create the watch using 3D rendering software using graphic designs for a base and the final image I had in mind. Working on water splash effects with 3D software is a lot less onerous than past techniques. No more messy studio work and we are now able to control the water’s shape and lighting perfectly.
This is a much more efficient way to create the images my clients want without compromising on the creative vision.
